DULUTH — A new tool-lending library with the Northern Bedrock Historic Preservation Corps is building its collection for DIY enthusiasts to use for their own projects.
Northern Bedrock Historic Preservation Corps is a Duluth nonprofit organization that focuses on historic preservation trades training for young adults and serving the community.
Since moving to its home in Morgan Park last year, Northern Bedrock has been building up a library of tools that community members can use for home maintenance. The organization recently received a $100,000 grant from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to expand the community workshop and library.
"The grant comes with funds to purchase new tools, but we're hoping we can get tools for like, re-glazing your windows ..." said Charley Langowsk
