Three seniors in the Montreal area have been found dead outdoors in less than a week, raising urgent questions about gaps in elder care and safety protocols during cold weather.
The cluster of deaths — all involving elderly residents who ended up outside in freezing conditions — has prompted investigations across three municipal police departments.

On Friday, police in Thérèse-de Blainville confirmed a 78-year-old man was found outside near 66 Bouthillier St. in Rosemère at around 9:30 a.m. He was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
