A 24-unit townhouse development has been approved on a long-vacant lot in a prime spot at the entryway to Wildwood, city officials confirmed Thursday.
The approval clears the way for “The Gateway” project near the George Redding Route 47 bridge.
The project is expected to bring luxury townhomes to the area bounded by Rio Grande, Taylor, and Susquehanna avenues.
Renderings shared on social media by local website Watch The Tramcar Please, showed multi-colored two-floor townhouses on top of garages.
No timeline for the project was announced.
