A 77-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman are hospitalized with serious injuries following a fire in Middletown, Delaware, officials shared.

According to officials, around 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, first responders were called to the 700 block of Cleaver Farms Road, the Villagebrook Trailer Park, in Middletown, for a structure fire.

When first responders arrived on scene, they found an active fire and two people, a 77-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman with injuries, officials said. Both people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Officials said the man is in critical condition with burns and possible smoke inhalation and the woman is in serious condition with possible intern
