2BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, N.J. – A winter storm is expected to bring up to six inches of snow to Berkeley Township early Sunday morning, prompting local officials to warn residents to stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary.

The storm is forecast to begin around 1 a.m. and continue for several hours, with temperatures plunging into the single digits through Monday.

Town officials said plow crews are standing by and will begin clearing roads once four to five inches of snow have accumulated.
