HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - In the Boys Championship of the WYMT Food City Mountain Basketball Classic, North Laurel faced Knott Co. Central and won, 54-46.

The Patriots went on a 6-4 run to start the game.

Jordan Rawlings took the lead for North Laurel on two back-to-back three’s giving the Jaguars a 10-6 lead.

Connor Napier followed that up with two threes of his own to give Knott Co. Central a 13-10 lead with 2:35 left in the first quarter.

Cam Anderson immediately answered, tying the game at 13 points.

Napier followed that up with another triple to give KCC a 16-13 lead.

At the end of the first quarter, Knott Co. Central led, 18-15.

In the second quarter, Chance Amburgey got the scoring started for the Patriots, but Reece Davidson answered, making the score 20-17 in favor of Knott Co.
