The National Weather Service released a special weather statement at 2:17 a.m. on Sunday until 8 a.m. for Orange County.
"Snow will continue to fall during the overnight resulting in a light accumulation. Roadways and walkways will be slippery with temperatures below freezing. Up to 3 inches is expected across southern most portions of the county, with generally lesser amounts further north. The snow is expected to end at or just after sunrise," explains the weather service.
