MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to a number of traffic crashes and boating incidents over the 2025 4th of July holiday weekend, according to data released Thursday.
From Thursday, July 3, to Sunday, July 6, ALEA’s Marine Patrol Division investigated seven boating accidents on Lake Martin , Smith Lake, Logan Martin Lake, Guntersville Lake, Lake Eufaula and Coden Bayou.
Authorities say there were no boating deaths reported. One non-boating death, a drowning, was reported Saturday at Chickasabogue Creek in Mobile County.
