BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Federal immigration raids across Alabama during the week have sparked concern and confusion among legal advocates and community leaders.

On Tuesday, July 15, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents detained dozens of people at several Mexican restaurants as part of what officials say is a years-long investigation into business ownership and operations.

But some are questioning whether all of those taken into custody actually did anything wrong.
