Deputies arrested a Boaz man after they found a homemade 3D printed gun during a traffic stop in Guntersville on Monday.

Deputies arrested Christopher Aaron Raines, 38. The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says that during a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered the 3D printed fully automatic firearm. ATF agents were then notified and responded to the scene.

Authorities searched Raines's residence in Boaz and say they found Glock switches along with 3D printers.

Raines faces more charges in Etowah County for possession and production of Glock switches. He's in the Marshall County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
