MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. ( WAFF ) - A Boaz man was arrested after Marshall County deputies said he had a homemade 3D-printed fully automatic firearm.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office said deputies pulled over 38-year-old Christopher Raines of Boaz on Monday in Guntersville. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies said they learned he had an active misdemeanor warrant for his arrest in Cullman and was taken into custody.

During a subsequent vehicle search, deputies said they found a homemade 3D-printed fully automatic firearm.

A later search of his home turned up glock switches along with 3D printers for the production of the firearm and glock switches, deputies said.

Raines will face additional charges in Etowah County for possession and production of glock switches.
