GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) - A Boaz man is facing charges after deputies found a 3D-printed, fully automatic gun in his car during a traffic stop, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.
On July 14, Marshall County deputies conducted a traffic stop in Guntersville. The deputies arrested the driver, 38-year-old Christopher Aaron Raines, who had a misdemeanor warrant from the Cullman Police Department.
MCSO said that upon searching the vehicle, they found a homemade 3D-printed fully automatic gun.
Deputies notified Marshall County investigators and ATF agents, who responded to the scene. Investigators searched Raines' home in Etowah County, where they said they found glock switches and 3D printers.
