CADDO PARISH, La. — Caddo Parish Sheriff's deputies are actively searching for a possibly armed man following a domestic disturbance where gunshots were heard. The incident happened Thursday night at 542 Jenkins Road.

Deputies responded to the scene around 8 p.m. and reported hearing gunshot at the scene. The Caddo Sheriff's Special Response Team was dispatched to assist in clearing the area.

The suspect has been identified as John Wayne Wright Jr., 46. He is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a black tank top and tan pants. Police believe Wright may be in the vicinity of North Shreve Baptist Church.

The public is advised not to approach Wright and to call 911 immediately if he is spotted. The search remains ongoing.
