Soybeans are the star of the show at Nam Tao Huu, a Thai dessert shop that recently opened on Northwest 23rd Avenue. It’s hard to miss the bright yellow shop with green trimmed windows, red benches and a striped awning.
Inside, the vibrant decor embodies the shop’s motto: Joy in every cup of soy. Cartoon soybeans dot the walls, Chinese and Thai figurines decorate a shelf behind the counter and intricate pillows with Chinese symbols including a lion’s head and koi fish decorate a yellow booth.
