HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Three Adams County teenagers face felony charges in connection with a May crash that left a Hastings woman in a coma.

Court records identify them as 18-year-old Gregory Stroot of Juniata, and 17-year-olds Beckett Shafer and Tanner Graf, both of Hastings. Each is being charged as an adult with two felony counts of second-degree assault and one misdemeanor count of willful reckless driving.

On May 2, first responders were called to a serious crash on West 2nd Street near Casey’s .

When officers arrived, they found a red Chevrolet pickup and a black minivan in the eastbound lanes. A third vehicle, a gray Ford pickup, had crashed into a nearby house.

Capt. Jason Haase said the Chevrolet and Ford pickups were traveling westbound on 2nd Street and driving recklessly
