BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) -- From the seats, thousands of fans watch shows and basketball games with the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty.

But a major projection is required before the audience arrives for the show.

The basketball court is removed to reveal a concrete floor that's ready for a new kind of action.

Road crews and local stagehands are transforming the arena into the kickoff venue for a rock concert on Tuesday.

Linkin Park will begin the North American leg of their "From Zero World Tour" in Brooklyn. The rock band was formed in 1996 in California.

The band has 13 thirteen number-one singles on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. Two singles, "Crawling" and "Numb/Encore", earned the band Grammy Awards.
