NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you smell gas in Brooklyn on Wednesday, don't panic right away, according to NotifyNYC.
National Grid is doing planned work near 2nd Street between 4th and 6th avenues from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. You may smell a natural gas odor, officials said.
If you have a gas emergency, you're urged to call 911, according to NotifyNYC.
It's unclear if the planned work will continue into Thursday.
