CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Another challenger to Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham is expected to enter the race, hoping to represent South Carolina in the United States Senate.

Paul Dans, an attorney who worked in the first Trump Administration, is set to announce his bid during an event in Charleston.

Dans is well-known for being an architect of Project 2025, a right-wing political framework that seeks to reduce the size of the federal government and downsize the federal workforce.

He says Sen. Graham has been in Washington too long and believes it is time for him to go. A spokesperson for Graham’s campaign said that Dans’ campaign will “end prematurely.”
