SOUTH OZONE PARK, Queens (PIX11) --- A dog sitter is accused of kicking the pup to death before burning its body on a Queens street last week, authorities said Wednesday.

After he was arrested Saturday, Isaiah K. Gurley told police he had been watching the dog for someone for several days before allegedly killing it, according to the criminal complaint.

"I killed the dog by kicking it to death, and I burned the dog's body after it was already dead," Gurley said in the court documents.

Gurley, 29, was allegedly seen on surveillance video dragging the motionless pup by the leash and dousing it with an accelerant before setting the blaze on 116th Avenue in South Ozone Park at around 5 a.m. on July 24, prosecutors said.
