SAN JOSE — Two men were arrested this month on suspicion of repeatedly stabbing a man on North Fourth Street in May in an attack where investigators had to retroactively locate the crime scene because everyone, including the victim, was gone by the time police arrived.
In the early morning hours of May 3, San Jose police officers were called to a hospital after a man walked in seeking treatment for multiple stab wounds, according to the police department.
Detectives retraced the information they gathered at the hospital, and determined that just before midnight the previous night, the victim was on the 1000 block of North Fourth Street, between East Younger and Burton avenues, when “multiple adult male suspects violently assaulted” him, police said.
