Chandler Unified School District Superintendent Frank Narducci admits that when he was a student growing up in the 1970s, he needed motivation to go to school.
“I was one of those kids, if I could stay home and watch ‘Price Is Right’ versus going to junior high school, I’m going to stay home and watch ‘Price Is Right.’”
Narducci made the comment during a recent meeting of the Chandler Unified Governing Board. Students returned to CUSD classrooms on July 16 and one problem the district is trying to solve is convincing them to come to school.
