A first-year councilman admits he needs to keep his emotions in check – and listen to his own advice.

Indeed, the “do what I say, not what I do” was hard to miss.

Over the course of a few meetings, rookie Councilman Adam Kwasman – a personal injury attorney and former state representative who aggressively entered Scottsdale politics – lectured citizens on “proper decorum and respect” during the public comments section.

Then, the bombshell dropped.

The night of June 5, apparently furious over Mayor Lisa Borowsky’s stance on Axon, Kwasman fired off a profanity-laced text to Terrance Thornton, her chief of staff.

Claiming “Lisa bailed on the meeting,” Kwasman added: “She’s (expletive) this whole thing up.”
