Smoke from the Bear Gulch fire in the Olympic Mountains drifted into Seattle on Saturday, bringing a haze into the city.
Some in Western Washington may continue to feel effects of neighboring wildfires this week if the fire continues to swell — though the general air quality forecast remains good in the Puget Sound region.
“Most of the smoke should remain suspended in the atmosphere,” said Dev McMillian, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Seattle, on Saturday afternoon.
