CLINTON COUNTY, Mo - Three people were arrested in Clinton County over the weekend on drug charges.
According to a probable cause statement Clinton County Deputies stopped a vehicle Saturday night driven by 58-year-old Darrel Eugene George of Lathrop for failing to display a rear license lamp. George's driver's license was also found to be expired. He and his two passengers, 50-year-old Kimberly Marie Mason of Independence and 43-year-old Heather Rae Wayman of Kansas City displayed signs of nervousness.
A search of Wayman's backpack revealed a glass smoking pipe with methamphetamine inside. Mason's backpack contained two baggies of approximately five grams of meth. George was found to be in possession of two more bags of meth weighing approximately 75 ounces.
