LUMBERTON — Two suspects are in custody and charged with multiple sexual offenses in connection with separate investigations.

On Monday at approximately 3:30 p.m., Johnathan Huley Jacobs, 43, of Parkton, voluntarily surrendered to Juvenile Investigators at the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office, accompanied by his attorney. Jacobs has been charged with 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Following his surrender, Jacobs was placed in the custody of the Robeson County Detention Center under a $5 million secured bond.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Division, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, and Lumberton Police Department are investigating the case(s).
