RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle overnight in Raleigh early Tuesday morning.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded at around 12:09 a.m. near the intersection of Poole Road and Carya Drive.

The person who was struck was taken to a nearby hospital, and they are currently listed in critical condition, police said.

The driver showed no signs of impairment, according to Raleigh police, and no arrests or charges were made.
