COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (WOWT) - A woman was arrested after a shooting incident in Council Bluffs on Monday.

Spirit Calhoun, 22, was booked Monday on charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault with a dangerous weapon, and reckless use of a firearm.

In a release, the Council Bluffs Police Department says at about 5:45 p.m. Monday, officers were called to a home near 37th and John streets for a possible shooting.

An initial investigation found a woman fired at least two shots from a handgun during an argument. One shot hit a nearby house and another shot hit a vehicle a person was “in or around,” the release states.

No one was hurt in the shooting incident, police say.
