A lot of questions remain about a situation in Roxbury, where a 13-year-old boy said that a man attacked him with a chemically soaked cloth at a bus station in Nubian Square.

It's an allegation that the man, who has been charged by police, says is a lie.

Willie Cowart, a 69-year-old Dorchester resident, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon on Roxbury BMC last week, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.

The teenage victim said he was at the corner of Dudley and Washington Streets last Monday, shortly after noon, when Cowart allegedly approached him. The victim said Cowart poured something on a red handkerchief and tried to put it over his mouth.
