PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — We're keeping the mild pattern in the Portland metro area going into Tuesday. Morning clouds should make way for afternoon sun with temperatures warming to the low-80s.

Rain is working its way back into the Portland area Tuesday night into Wednesday, with scattered shower chances lingering throughout the day. Those shower chances look to stick around Wednesday evening into Thursday.

Once the rain passes through, the heat comes back. Friday temperatures look to climb back into the mid-80s before near 90 degree temperatures over the weekend. The start of next week looks to get even warmer, with temperatures climbing to the upper 90s.
