KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Rural Metro Fire and the Knoxville Fire Department saved a 130-year-old home in northeast Knox County after a fire caused damage.
Around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Rural Metro went to the scene of a house fire on the 4800 block of Anderson Road. When they arrived, the house was in flames. KFD also arrived to provide aid. All the occupants were outside when the firefighters arrived. Rural Metro said the home was built in 1895.
