HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A Loris man will spend the next 30 years in prison for shooting and killing a 42-year-old Conway man in December 2022.
Joe Joe Detrell Gause, 33, pleaded guilty to murder on Monday in Horry County Circuit Court, a week before he was scheduled to go on trial for killing Brandon Robinson, the 15th Circuit Solicitor's Office said. He is not eligible for parole.
Gause killed Robinson at Robinson's home in Conway on the night of Dec. 11, 2022. According to the solicitor's office, Robinson was at home with Gause's ex-girlfriend, whom he had followed there.
Gause went to the front door and posed as a DoorDash delivery driver, the solicitor's office said. When Robinson came to the door, Gause fired multiple shots through the door, hitting Robinson at least four time
