GIBSON CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Gibson County Sheriff’s Office officials say three people are in jail after being arrested Tuesday on several different charges.

According to a press release, deputies were dispatched to the M&M Trailer Court just before 1 a.m. to serve a Failure to Return to Lawful Detention warrant to 25-year-old Colton Linxwiler.

When deputies arrived on scene, they smelt burning marijuana coming from inside the home when speaking with 52-year-old Jason Thomas.

During a sweep of the home, Linxwiler attempted to run from deputies but was quickly taken into custody.

Officials say once Linxwiler was in custody, deputies conducted a drug investigation where Thomas and 41-year-old Josie Lewis were taken into custody.
