EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville Police say a drunk driver crashed his car late Saturday night.

They say it happened at Pollack and Vann Avenues.

Police say 34-year-old Anthony Parkman’s car was badly damaged and not drivable.

Officers say Parkman told them his neck and back were hurt, but he refused an ambulance.

While speaking with him, police say they noticed he seemed intoxicated.

They say Parkman failed field sobriety tests, and on a breath test, his BAC registered .208.

He was taken to the hospital and then to jail.

The affidavit did not describe what Parkman hit, but he was called “one of the involved drivers.”
