NEW ORLEANS —

The last two Planned Parenthood locations in Louisiana will close at the end of September.

According to a report by Louisiana First News, the New Orleans and Baton Rouge Planned Parenthood locations will close on Sept. 30. Advertisement

The two locations had been operating in the state since 1984.

Planned Parenthood services at those locations included cancer screenings, birth control, HIV, Pap and HPV tests, pregnancy testing, gender-affirming care, miscarriage management, ultrasounds, and assistance for out-of-state abortions.

According to the Planned Parenthood website, the Louisiana locations did not provide abortion services.
