A Chelsea man is slated to plead guilty Monday to committing three armed bank robberies in and around Boston last summer, and prosecutors will recommend a prison sentence of about five years, records show.

Details of the plea deal for Keywan Kelly, 30, were filed Monday in US District Court in Boston, where he was slated to enter a guilty plea in the afternoon to three counts of armed bank robbery.

In addition to a 63-month prison term, prosecutors under terms of the agreement will request that Kelly spend three years on supervised release once he completes his sentence.

The government is also recommending restitution to be determined at sentencing, but not a separate fine, since Kelly “is not able, and is not likely to become able, to pay a fine,” court papers said.
