EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - We’re receiving some new details less than a month after a fire tore through the Warrick Education Center in Newburgh.
Ohio Township Fire Chief Scott Foreman says they still don’t know what caused the fire because of how damaged the building is.
He does say, however, that they do not believe any foul play was involved.
No one was inside the building when the fire started due to renovations.
The Warrick County School Corporation superintendent says about 80 students were impacted by the fire.
Officials say those students have been placed in other schools for the start of the new school year.
