FARGO — A summer storm left many fans bummed after the Tuesday night Rainbow Kitten Surprise concert at UP District Festival Field was canceled due to dangerous weather conditions.

The band was able to get through one song before an announcement was made by the event staff to start filing out of the venue to go wait out the weather from their vehicles or at the next door Angels Arena. The show was ultimately canceled after about an hour and a half of waiting due to safety concerns.

The show was opened by singer Medium Build who played an early acoustic set while the rain was light. Fans sported rain boots and ponchos to block out the rain as it picked back up just in time for the headliners, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, to take the stage.
