(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- Wednesday brings another wet morning as showers continue to funnel in from the south and west. We’ll hold on to a Flood Watch east of Uptown for Stanly, Anson, & Richmond Counties through Wednesday evening until 12 a.m. Thursday morning.

Temperatures are in the low to mid-60s on Wednesday morning with mostly cloudy skies and patchy fog developing as the showers move in. Wet roadways and the potential for flooding will impact your morning commute yet again.

Look for the heaviest rain to move in late morning and early afternoon, then shift east as we head into the second half of today. We can see an additional inch in some spots, if not more, with dryer conditions settling in on Wednesday evening.

Highs will peak in the mid-70s before we dip into the 60s yet again ov
