The higher dew points and hence mugginess to the air, which was on summer vacation for about five days, are returning from said vacation, and we're going to be sweating a bit more starting today and into the weekend as the south winds start to increase and the dew points start to come up to more seasonal levels.
With this comes some rain chances, still a few questions on that, but at least today into tomorrow there will be a chance of some areas of rain moving into the region.
While the chances appear higher in northern Missouri and northeast Kansas, some could make it into the Metro as well... so if there are some showers/storms out there, don't be too surprised.
