ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) -- Bladen County authorities are taking over the homicide probe of an 18-year-old girl found dead in Robeson County Monday, Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said.

Robeson County deputies responded to the area of Talmage and Tolarsville roads just after 11 a.m., where Aaliyah U. Isles of Fayetteville was found dead at the scene.

Authorities determined the incident happened outside of Robeson County's jurisdiction, and transferred the case.
