CHILLICOTHE, OH – Chillicothe police were dispatched to 17 separate incidents on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, handling a variety of calls that included a suspected drug overdose, multiple thefts, traffic violations, and several disorderly conduct complaints.
The day began just after midnight, when officers responded to 8 Deerpath at 12:33 a.m. for a report of an unresponsive person, later classified as a drug overdose.
At 6:24 a.m., an officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop at E Main St and Paint St after spotting a vehicle with fictitious license plates. The driver was also found to have a suspended license. Later that morning, two separate texting-while-driving stops were conducted on E Water St near the Bridge Street area.
