The Boston Red Sox have seen enough from top prospect Roman Anthony.

Anthony is finalizing an eight-year, $130 million contract extension with the Red Sox that will keep him under team control through 2034, ESPN's Jeff Passan reports .

Anthony's deal will begin in 2026 and includes "significant escalators" that could max out the contract's value at $230 million if he hits performance-based incentives, per Passan.

The deal is currently pending a physical.
