CYPRESS HILLS, Brooklyn (PIX11) --- Human remains were found on the side of the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Brooklyn on Wednesday morning, police said.

A Department of Transportation worker found the skeletal remains near exit 1 of the westbound side of the parkway in Cypress Hills at around 10:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

No other information was immediately available.
