MONITEAU COUNTY, Mo - A California, Missouri woman was injured in a Moniteau County accident yesterday afternoon.

The accident took place just before 2 at the intersection of Lookout Trail Road and Industrial Drive. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a dump truck driven by a 66-year-old Prairie Home man was southbound on Industrial Drive while a car driven by a 66-year-old California woman was eastbound on Lookout Trail when the dump truck failed to yield to the car and collided with its driver's side door.

The California woman suffered serious injuries in the accident and was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. The dump truck driver was uninjured in the accident.
