WESTFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - It was announced in may that all 13 Smithland locations were set to close.

But last month, Western Mass News learned the Westfield location would be able to keep its doors open after getting a new owner, Nabil Hannoush.

To celebrate it’s return, the store is going to have special offers this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ranging from 7 dollar dog washes, free samples, and a wheel of prizes. There will even be special guests at the re-opening.

People will also be able to meet rescuers from Halfway Home Cat Rescue and Kane’s Krusade, two animal organizations that Smithland has worked with.
