COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minn. — The Columbia Heights Police Department said a 3-week-old infant, who had been the subject of an Amber Alert, has been found safe.

The newborn was initially reportedly abducted by a 37-year-old woman, but both have since been found safe in Minneapolis.

Officials had said the child was taken from the guardian's home by the woman after she allegedly threatened violence towards the infant's guardian.
