Thursday will be a lot like today with the potential for a few mid-morning thundershowers associated with a dying complex of storms coming out of Iowa.
THURSDAY'S FORECAST
Morning temperatures will start in the lower 70s with a mostly sunny sky, but as we head into late morning a few showers are expected associated with a complex of thunderstorms coming out of Iowa.
Rain chances will be highest north of I-70, but remember activity will be scattered, so not everyone will see rain.
Temperatures are expected to warm to near 90° in the afternoon
LOOKING AHEAD
Friday will feature heat index values near 100° with highs in the lower 90s. Humidity values will remain at tropical levels through the weekend and into early next week.
Temperatures should return to the upper 80s late this weekend
