BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Today was the first day back for Warren County Public Schools.

At North Warren Elementary School, decorations filled the hallways to welcome back students and parents.

The theme for this school year is ‘From our nest to the world’, highlighting one of the main focuses for the school, a connection with the community.

“Always build relationships with my students, with my parents and guardians, with our community. That’s really big for me, is building those relationships,” explains North Warren Elementary Principal Nadina Alexander about her biggest goals for the year.

She also explained that there was a huge turnout this morning with parents walking their kids to school.
