COLUMBIA — Coyote Hill kicked off its back-to-school drive in the new wing of its family center this week.

While the foster care ministry has been in the space on Tenth Street since late April, it opened a new wing in the facility on Friday.

"It's been super cool to be here on the north side of downtown, here in The District," Developmental Director Joe Knight said. "Being in Columbia still, for us as Coyote Hill, is incredible with the way we've been able to give children safe homes with our foster care ministries we've been doing over the last five years."

Knight said Coyote Hill had a high school graduation party in its family gathering space, as well as after-school events and other activities with kids.
