GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was arrested on Wednesday in connection to a fatal shooting in Greensboro, according to a Greensboro Police Department news release.
At around 5:14 p.m. on July 29, officers came to the 1500 block of Hamilton Hills Drive after getting a report of a shooting.
At the scene, police found Wilmer Lewis Jones, 47, of Greensboro, suffering from serious injuries as a result of the shooting.
Jones was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
On Wednesday, 29-year-old Ronald Robinson was arrested for a warrant obtained for him for first-degree murder in the death of Jones.
He was taken to the Guilford County Jail and held without bond.
